Event Photography

Event photography that goes beyond merely documenting the who, what and where by focussing on the experience of the who, what and where.

Musician and Performing Artist Services

Coming from a long background as a professional musician and songwriter, I have a special affinity for music, dance and other performance photography. Unlike many concert photos I see, I focus on the performance rather than solely on the performer--capturing the interactions between the performers as well as the interactions between them and the audience; the ebb and flow of energy over time from anticipatory nerves, to amped excitement, to being spent; the loudness or softness of the performance; the extensions and lines of a dancer; the magic of stage lighting; the experience of being there. 

• Performance shoots are just the beginning of the services I offer to performing artists:
• License-free images, without watermarks, that you own
• Location and concept shoots
• Photography for press kits
• Photography for promotional materials (including complete layout and printing if you want full turn-key service)
• Cover art photography
• Precisely lit shots of two and three dimensional art

Fine Art Photography

When I use the camera as a brush to paint light and form onto the canvas of a (digital) negative... this is when I am creating rather than capturing an image. My art projects range from manipulating light and shadows on human figures, to literally pulling glass-colored light into abstract "paintings". I will be showing images from my fine art projects in the rotating featured gallery.

In addition to those from featured galleries, you can view a wide selection of my fine art photography in the prints collections. These images are available as high quality photographic prints, most with options for size, paper and mounting. Additionally, digital downloads for personal use are also available.
